HEART HEADED was closest in pursuit along the rail then a bit off the inside, challenged from outside at the top of the lane, dueled with GENIUS JIMMY through the final furlong and dug in to edge the runner-up. GENIUS JIMMY sent clear and cut across to the rail, set all the pace to the stretch, challenged by HEART HEADED at the three-sixteenths pole, battled gamely from inside and yielded grudgingly in the end. CATHAL (IRE) settled along the rail, drew closer while moving into the two path between rivals on the far turn, moved out and finished determinedly under right handed urging, kept gaining to the wire and missed second. GRAND ASPEN traveled two wide towards the back, remained in the two path on the far turn, tipped out in the stretch, closed well in the final furlong but ran out of ground. IRISH PROPHET tracked two wide early on, eased out around the far turn and entered the lane in the four path, finished willingly down the lane but lacked the needed late punch. EYE ON RY stalked the pacesetter from along the rail, drew closer on the far turn while still on the fence, cornered nicely into the lane but failed to produce a bid. CALL SIGN SEVEN traveled outside a rival at the back of the pack, continued two wide around the far turn, steered out wide in upper stretch, finished full of run but was too late. MALTESE FALCON (IRE) saved ground near the back, came off the fence in the lane and needed to find more. CITY EXILE (GB) bobbled a bit at the start, stalked in the two path around the clubhouse turn, took aim three wide turning for home but weakened in the drive. MANIATIC (IRE) tucked inside at the back, came under a ride while continuing to save ground on the far turn, asked left handed entering the lane and was always outrun.
