GOODNIGHT NELLIE tossed her head right before the gate opened then lost a step at the start, followed in range from off the rail, made three then four wide move on the turn to challenge the leaders leaving the bend, took over and cleared in upper stretch and won going away. MISS MICHE LADA pressed from inside then dueled leaving the backstretch, gained control early on the bend, lost the lead at the top of the stretch, could not kick on with the winner in the furlong grounds but stayed on to hold second. BETTY PACK climbed a bit along the fence early, drew closer while saving ground through the turn, angled out for a clear sailing and gained the show honors. ROSIE ANN RULES raced up close early, bid between rivals on the turn, fought outside the leader into the lane, could not sustain the challenge in upper stretch and flattened to fourth. BE A GOLDFISH chased from off the pace well off the rail, rounded the bend five to six wide and lacked a rally. ADA THORNE bothered by WILD TEXAS ROSE leaving the gate, pressed from outside early, chased four, five, then three wide into the lane and faded. WILD TEXAS ROSE broke out, chased well off the rail at the back, angled into the two path approaching the turn then found the rail, steered off the fence in the drive and was never a factor. CHALKONEUPFORMOM set the pace under pressure from rivals on both sides then dueled outside MISS MICHE LADA into the turn, lost command shortly after, weakened while drifting wide around the bend, then tired and was eased in the furlong grounds and walked off.
