SEE THROUGH IT settled off the pace, moved inside for the turn, eased out to the three path around the bend, rallied under right then left handed urging, drew alongside ELWOOD BLUES in deep stretch and got up at the wire. ELWOOD BLUES stalked the speed outside BARTHOLDY early, bid three deep late on the turn, took over in upper stretch, cleared briefly midstretch, challenged by SEE THROUGH IT late and got nailed on the line. BARTHOLDY was closest in pursuit up the backstretch and turn, bid two wide late on the bend, fought between foes entering the lane, fought inside ELWOOD BLUES to the sixteenth pole and could not match the top pair late. MISSION BEACH trailed on the inside into the turn, quickly switched to the two path, moved back inside with a quarter mile remaining, kept trying down the lane but needed to find more. SLIDER showed the way early from inside, confronted by a pair of rivals late on the bend, yielded in upper stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. MOOSE MITCHELL chased outside a rival off the pace, ridden along three then four wide on the turn but offered no response and was not persevered with down the lane.
