AIR FORCE RED tracked between rivals early, followed in range from the two path around the bend, split rivals at the three-sixteenths pole, drew alongside LOVESICK BLUES midstretch and drove clear nearing the wire. LOVESICK BLUES vied between rivals then dueled inside MUCHO DEL ORO in the early stages, held a short lead over outer rival through the turn, cleared MUCHO DEL ORO in upper stretch, confronted by AIR FORCE RED in the final furlong and yielded late. SORRENTO SKY (IRE) tracked along the inside into the turn, angled out approaching the dirt crossing, came four wide into the lane and gained the show honors. ST ANTHONY trailed in the early going, angled to the inside for the turn, eased over to the two path around the bend, steered out crossing the dirt, chased five wide coming into the stretch, kept on to earn a minor award but failed to threaten. ANARCHIST stalked outside a pair of rivals early then moved into the two path on the turn, chased three wide leaving the dirt and weakened down the lane. MUCHO DEL ORO broke a step slow, went up to challenge for the lead three deep then dueled outside LOVESICK BLUES, kept the pressure on that rival through the turn, fought to the top of the lane, yielded in upper stretch and weakened. CHARGE FOR GOLD vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals then stalked those horses in the early going, saved ground on the fence around the bend, roused at the top of the lane, moved out a bit midstretch and weakened.
