Footnotes
ATOMIC DROP sprinted clear and moved inside, controlled the pace up the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn as well, moved off the fence at the top of the lane, asked right handed at the eighth pole, switched to the left hand midstretch and remained clear to the wire. AMERICAN EMPIRE settled next to the fence, shifted to the two path at the quarter pole, rallied between rivals and got up for second. DRUIDIC stalked in the two path, roused leaving the backstretch, asked right handed midway around the far turn, remained two wide to the lane, followed in range down the stretch but finished evenly late and got edged for second. TRUSTY RUSTY chased from off the pace between rivals in the two path early, remained two wide into the far turn, tipped three wide on the far turn, bobbled when asked right handed late on the bend, kept trying down the lane and got outkicked for the place and show. GRACEFUL MISCHIEF saved ground trailing the field through both turns and passed tired rivals while moving out a bit in the lane. CLEVER CLOVER hit the side of the stall leaving, settled outside a pair of rivals, chased three to four wide around the far turn and weakened. IDIOT'S GOLD stalked the speed from inside, coaxed along the rail through the far turn and faded next to the fence.
