Footnotes
ROSELEE MAY stalked the top pair from inside, coaxed along the fence on the far turn, moved out in upper stretch, drew alongside the runner-up at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. NOTIME FOR SQUALLS stepped to the front and led two wide then along the rail on the clubhouse turn, took pressure up the backstretch, shook free midway around the far turn, remained unchallenged to midstretch, then got confronted by ROSELEE MAY at the sixteenth pole and could not fend off that rival. UPCHARGE settled along the inside, hugged the rail through the far turn, moved out in the lane and gained third. EVERYTHING BUGS ME tracked two then three wide around the first turn, moved up to press the leader at the five-eighths pole, dueled past the half-mile pole, failed to keep up midway around the far turn and weakened in the stretch. LITA WAY unhurried from the outside in the beginning and angled inward, steered out to the three path around the clubhouse turn, remained three wide to the stretch and failed to menace. KAHURARU (FR) raced up close in the three then two path, stalked outside the winner to the far turn, weakened in the two path around the bend and was not persevered with in the late stages. BLUE OASIS chased two wide into the first turn, lost her action early on the bend, raced keenly at the back between rivals, got boxed in on the far turn, angled to the inside, moved back out in the lane and had little left for the stretch run.
