Footnotes
LOVELY IDAHO bobbled slightly at the start but still came away well, went up to take control from outside then crossed over to the rail, showed the way next to the fence to the stretch, then drew off under left handed encouragement and strong handling in deep stretch. DELLA TERRA raced up close on the inside, stayed on the fence through the turn, moved out taking aim at the winner in upper stretch but could not make any headway in the final furlong while clearly second best. GARDEN PARTY tracked three deep in the early going, fell out of range three then two wide on the turn, churned on down the stretch and gained third. PRACTICAL DAZZLE broke out and bumped, followed in range between rivals, chased two wide through the turn, could not produce a bid when asked left handed and was overtaken for the show honors. SMILING FOREVER took a bump from inside in the beginning, stalked the lone speed outside a rival, chased two to three wide on the turn and weakened down the lane. CLUB TEASER broke a step slow, lagged behind up the backstretch and moved inside, shifted to the two path around the bend, angled out into the stretch and passed tired rivals. COPPERHEAD FEVER got knocked into outer rival leaving the gate, traveled outside a rival off the pace, took the turn two wide and failed to menace. COCONUT GIRL sat off the pace on the inside, remained along the rail to the stretch and could not make an impact. BROKE THE CODE broke a step slow and inward, ran up on heels and took hold from the nine-sixteenths pole to the half-mile marker, took hold again at the three-eighths pole, stayed on the fence to the stretch and came up empty.
