Footnotes
CAVIAR COWBOY settled mid-pack outside a foe early, moved nearer the rail early on the turn, advanced on the leaders through that bend saving some ground, bid inside foes in upper stretch, took the lead about a furlong out, forged clear to win going away under moderate urging. FAR OVER LOADED dueled inside a foe but off the rail, put away that rival then met a new challenger making an outside bid, repelled that foe but could not hold off the inside rally of the winner but managed to secure the place. MY PAL GEORGE hopped at the start, steadily advanced outside four to five wide, made a mild brief bid at the top of the stretch then evened out. PROBLEM SOLVER settled off the pace, fanned eight wide into upper stretch, improved position while widest. SHAKE THE DUST chased from inside, angled seven wide turning for home, was not a threat. HIGHLAND ECHO moved out three to four wide in the early going chasing mid-pack, swung out a bit further for the drive, was never a threat. MR. HUSSAR lacked early speed despite some encouragement, was not a factor. JOE VITTORI got away well, dueled outside, asked to keep pace past the five-sixteenths but could not and was done by the quarter dropping back and tiring.
