FOWLER BLUE was urged soon after the break while being guided out, moved forward outside foes five wide on the first turn, took the lead outside the five-eighths, shifted in once clear past the four and one-half, was put to strong urging by the quarter pole, kicked away and held safe. MICI'S EXPRESS stalked from up close in behind the leaders, was mostly four to five wide, kept on in the stretch to secure the place while no threat to the winner. KERRY GOLD sped to the lead soon after the start, set the early tempo from off the fence, was soon overtaken early up the backstretch, chased in behind racing two to three wide, lugged in a bit in upper stretch before drifting back out, fought on to hold show from between runners. LIL RICHARDS BELLO saved ground inside just off the leaders in behind, lost some ground up the backstretch, attempted to re-rally along the inside but had to steady on heels in upper stretch past the three-sixteenths, found room at the rail later and finished well but was not enough. FINAL STORM exchanged some light bumps at the start, settled at the back off the inside, moved out and advanced some four to five wide on the far turn, angled seven wide into upper stretch, ran on. CLOUSEAU settled inside on or just off the rail, was well back swinging seven to eight wide into upper stretch and passed some tired foes outside. SPEED GRAZY exchanged some light bumps just after the start, was nearly mid-pack racing mostly three wide, faded. PASS THE BATON moved in from four to three wide on the first turn, pressed just briefly up the backstretch, continued to chase not far off the leader, faded in the stretch.
