Footnotes
SUPER ELLIE settled on the inside, raced in range up the backstretch, tipped two wide then came back to the rail on the far turn, steered off the fence in the lane, surged to the front with a sixteenth remaining and won going away. J AND M EXPRESS dueled from outside, cleared with three furlongs remaining and moved inside, showed the way clear into the final furlong, could not offer any resistance to the winner at the sixteenth pole and held second. POKER ALICE stalked the top pair from the two path around the first turn, was closest in pursuit of the leader two to three wide on the far turn, put in a mild bid with a furlong remaining but was no match in the late stages. CHAMAVILLE traveled two wide into the first turn at the back, found the rail late on that bend, tipped around a tiring rival with a quarter mile remaining and improved position. SHANGHAI MIST tracked three wide early, lost ground two to three wide on the far turn and weakened. SMILING LADY away quickly to take the front then became rank when pulling early, fought inside for the lead up the backstretch, steadied at the three-eighths pole, dropped back to last on the far turn and tired.
