LION'S LAIR stalked outside rivals into the turn, took aim from the three path turning for home, took over in upper stretch, cleared midstretch and won going away. PERFECT IN GRAY fought four deep for command then inched ahead to set a pressured pace outside HONORABLE GAL, dueled with that rival through the turn, relinquished the lead to LION'S LAIR with a furlong remaining and managed to hold second. HONORABLE GAL vied three deep then pressed the early leader from inside to the turn, fought on even terms around the bend, battled to upper stretch, then failed to kick on with the winner in the furlong grounds and missed second. CRYSTAL PROOF tracked wide up the backstretch, went four to three wide around the bend, moved out in the drive and lacked a late bid. LADY'S SERMON tossed her head and spotted the field several lengths, trailed four wide into the turn, angled down to the two path and passed a pair of rivals, steered back out and came four wide into the lane and summoned a mild rally. A CROWN FOR KITTEN dropped well off the pace early, went six wide into the turn, angled down to the two path, moved back out in the lane and failed to threaten. PRINCESS HEKAWI vied from inside then ceded command and chased from inside, lost ground around the turn, went two wide into the lane and weakened. YOUR ROYAL FLYNESS was off a bit slow to begin, traveled near the back three wide into the turn, exited the bend in the six path and failed to make an impact. IRISH PRANCER showed early speed between rivals then steadied when crowded at the nine-sixteenths pole, chased outside a rival then between leaving the backstretch, went two wide around the bend and failed to respond. LA POPIS sat off the pace in the early going, went three then four wide around the turn and came up empty. TOPANTICIPATION (GB) bothered by outer rival at the start, traveled well off the pace in the early going, went two wide into the turn, moved out quickly on the turn, came five wide into the stretch, tired and eased in the lane, then pulled up just before the wire and walked off.
