BIG MAMA SUE antsy in the gate, brushed at the start, sat off the pace in the two path, moved into range on the far turn two then three wide, challenged in upper stretch, took over midstretch and drove clear. TIERGARTEN broke in and bumped KATERINI, was closest in pursuit from the two path, challenged from outside past the quarter pole, seized control in upper stretch, lost command midstretch and saved second. HIGHLANDS brushed leaving the gate, traveled in the two path near the back, gained two then three wide on the far turn, tipped out widest at the top of the stretch and missed second. BEAU SOLEIL sprinted clear and showed the way in hand early, coaxed along at the quarter pole and was challenged by TIERGARTEN shortly after, lost command in upper stretch, kept trying through the final furlong but got outfinished for the place and show. RED DIAMOND brushed in the beginning, saved ground from off the pace, moved out in the lane and lacked further response. KATERINI bumped leaving the gate, trailed along the inside, two wide at the quarter pole, eased in the furlong grounds and walked off.
