BELLY UP took a short lead three deep early then outside a rival past the half-mile pole, cleared and crossed over on the turn, kicked away in upper stretch, grew weary late but was able to hold. MIO BAMBINO sat off the pace on the inside, hugged the rail to the stretch, moved out and launched a late bid but ran out of ground. BRONKO NAGURSKI brushed with inner rival at the start, lacked early speed, saved ground from off the pace, lacked room briefly behind MIO BAMBINO in upper stretch, gained a clear path and finished well for the show honors. MY RANSOM raced in range two wide into the turn, moved over to the rail, tipped out late on the bend and lacked a bid down the lane. THE KEY IS UNITY tracked out of range three deep, spun four wide into the lane and weakened. NAFTIS showed early foot inside a pair of rivals, chased along the rail then two wide turning for home and weakened down the lane. TALLIS brushed leaving the gate, chased from off the pace between rivals, traveled two wide around the bend before angling out at the quarter pole and failed to respond to urging. NEW YORK DREAMS (GB) raced well off the pace in the opening stages, round the turn four then three wide and failed to menace. HOT LEGS ROMOLO showed speed between rivals then got put in tight at the half-mile pole, chased two wide into the turn, dropped back between rivals around the bend, eased in the stretch and walked off.
