KING OF CLUBS settled inside, drew closer between rivals on the backstretch, lost some ground into the far turn, came three wide into the lane, tipped out, rallied to the front at the sixteenth pole and drove clear to prove best. BLAME THE CLASSIC away quickly to lead early then ceded command to SILENT HEAT, applied pressure from outside on the backstretch, fought on even terms with a quarter mile remaining, put a head in front shortly after, led to midstretch, then yielded to the winner in deep stretch and held second. RODRIGOKNOWS stalked the pace from inside, tipped two wide into the lane, bid between upper stretch but got outkicked by the top pair. MOOGIE SON tracked two wide around the first turn, moved out and drew closer four deep in the middle stages, moved into the three path around the far turn, chased within range through the lane but failed to find more. FLY THE SKY stumbled leaving the gate, reserved to the inside at the back, angled out in the lane and failed to threaten. SILENT HEAT coaxed from the gate and went up to take control from inside, showed the way with BLAME THE CLASSIC alongside up the backstretch, fought on even terms at the quarter pole, lost command approaching the stretch and weakened in the furlong grounds. D D S EXPRESS tracked two wide in the early going, three deep into the far turn, moved into the two path, came back out to enter the lane in the four path, drifted to the inside and weakened.
