WINK AND A GRIN reserved in the early going and moved into the two path, drew closer into the far turn, waited behind rivals on the second bend next to the rail, tipped out a bit at the top of the stretch, closed in under strong handling, tipped out with a sixteenth remaining and surged late to overhaul the top pair in the end. WE THE HOBBY dueled for the lead from inside, cleared on the clubhouse turn, took pressure on the backstretch, maintained a short lead through the far turn, resisted into the final strides and got nailed at the wire. HELLO KID O KID O stalked in the three path, applied pressure from outside on the backstretch, kept the heat on the lead through the far turn, battled down the lane and could not find the needed late punch. SUNTORY TIME was off slow to begin, trailed on the inside, moved out and passed a rival on the backstretch, chased two then three wide on the far turn, moved out in the lane, showed late effort but was not enough. LESS IS MORE dueled from outside then ceded command while moving from the three path to the two path on the first turn, stalked the top pair up the backstretch, continued two wide through the second bend, chased within striking distance down the stretch but finished evenly late. BIG WHOOSH sat off the pace in the two path, moved into range three deep in the middle stages, asked right handed on the far turn, continued three wide to the lane and weakened. EXPRESSIVE LOVE traveled near the back of the pack and moved inside, trailed leaving the backstretch, saved ground to the stretch, moved out in the drive and could not make an impact. BIG CITY MISS stalked the speed from inside, cut the corner into the lane and weakened in the furlong grounds.
