TIGER QUEEN dueled from outside then inched ahead past the half-mile pole, carried a short lead through the turn, shook free at the top of the lane, then drew away under right handed encouragement and steady handling in deep stretch. JUST IS became fractious in the gate, traveled in range outside a rival, went three wide around the bend, finished willingly down the lane to get up for second but failed to reach the winner. WOODBINE WAY also became fractious in the gate, broke alertly then dueled from inside, pressed the winner late on the backstretch and around the turn, could not match strides at the top of the lane, kept on through the final furlong and got edged for second in the final moments. DISCREPANCY was off slow to begin, sat off the pace while moving inside, angled off the fence on the turn, tipped out further into the lane, kept trying in the stretch but needed to find more. ICY MISCHIEF stalked in the two path leaving the backstretch, lost ground under asking on the turn and weakened in the drive. QUEEN OF THE TRACK broke through the gate, got brought around and reloaded, took up briefly when tossing her head at the start, raced out of range off the inside, moved into striking distance four wide on the turn, then faded in the stretch run. CHOLLIMA dropped back early, entered the turn in the two path, eased out a bit further around the bend, drifted out in the lane and failed to threaten.
