POSITIVITY traveled near the back well off the pace, gained two wide around the bend, swung widest into the lane, surged to the front midstretch and was ridden out to the wire. MOMAD stalked the top quarter from inside up the backstretch and around the turn, lacked room in upper stretch, gained a clear path at the eighth pole and rallied for second. MBAGNICK (CHI) stalked for a bit then went up to vie for the lead four deep, battled outside a trio of runners through the turn and took over past the quarter pole, led into the final furlong, then yielded to the winner midstretch and lost second late. TOUCHDOWN BROWN chased from off the pace, moved into range four then five wide on the turn, bid into the final furlong but was no match late. TESSUTO raced in range then moved up to vie for the lead three deep between rivals, battled around the turn, fought to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. SHORTMAN broke a step slow, trailed up the backstretch, gained ground along the inside around the bend, moved out in upper stretch and improved position. KANGAROO COURT stalked briefly then vied between rivals at the half-mile pole, fought in the two path through the turn between runners, yielded in upper stretch and weakened. DEVIL AMONG US cleared and crossed over early, came under threat from a trio of rivals at the half-mile pole, fought along the rail through the turn, lost command past the quarter pole, then folded in the stretch run.
