SAINT SHELIA dueled from outside, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, put TENACIOUS CANDY away at the quarter pole and stayed clear under left handed urging and steady handling. NEPHELE stalked the top pair from off the rail, followed in the three path around the bend, finished willingly down the stretch but had to settle for second best. REBELEXIS raced widest up the backstretch towards the rear, navigated the turn in the four path, moved into third in upper stretch, could not summon the needed late kick in the late stages and held the show. SIEMPRE NAMAN saved ground at the back, cut the corner into the lane and offered a mild response to pick up a minor award. ROMAN BRONZE sat off the pace up the backstretch, three wide into the turn, moved into the two path then spun three wide into the stretch and failed to rally. WALK DOWN COLGATE raced in range from the fence into the turn, tipped two wide late on the bend and faded down the lane. TENACIOUS CANDY dueled from inside to the five-sixteenths pole, failed to kick on with the winner with a quarter mile remaining and tired in the stretch.
