PACKS A WAHLOP established the front along the rail, set all the pace to the stretch, met the bid from TARIFF in upper stretch and stubbornly held. TARIFF was closest in pursuit from the two path, moved inside on the second bend, tipped out and latched onto PACKS A WAHLOP in upper stretch, battled into the last sixteenth and got denied. NONE ABOVE THE LAW tracked two wide around the first turn, exited the backstretch three deep, angled to the rail around the far turn, steered back out in the lane and finished well to gain third. UNCLE HAPPY became rank prior to the first turn, ran up on heels around that bend, followed between runners at the seven-sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn along the rail then two path, chased within striking distance down the lane but finished evenly late. GEOMETRY raced a bit keenly in hand two then three wide early, followed those same paths on the far turn and weakened in the drive. FLYING DRUMMER followed in range from inside, steadied into the far turn and tired.
