MAGIC CONNECTION drifted in a bit shortly after the start then came out early, trailed up the backstretch, rounded the bend three then four wide, surged from outside and got up at the wire. NOVINOPHOBIA chased outside a rival then off the rail early, took the turn three to four wide, took over in upper stretch, led into the final strides and got nailed by the winner. TIGER STRENGTH stalked the top pair up the backstretch, waited behind the leader while saving ground around the bend, found an opening and launched a bid at the top of the lane but got outkicked by the top pair. BOLT SUPREMACY climbed in the early going and dropped of the pace, closed in three then four wide on the turn and flattened in the lane. MEEKING dueled from inside, cleared at the five-sixteenths pole, lost command in upper stretch and weakened. TORLEIF took a short lead dueling from outside up the backstretch, could not keep up with inner rival midway around the turn and tired.
