JOINT VENTURE took control inside rivals early, dueled up the backstretch, edged clear midway around the far turn and drew away under a drive. MIGHTY KAI stalked from inside, coaxed along behind the leader on the far turn, tipped out at the top of the lane, chased determinedly through the stretch but could not get to the winner. CRYPTO RIDE stalked in the two path to the far turn, asked while easing over to three path around the bend, lacked a rally in the lane but was able to hold third. BALLYHOOLIGAN raced up close three deep around the first turn, continued outside a pair of rivals to the second bend, moved into the two path and weakened. DURAN broke a step slow, ran up on heels early on the first turn in the two path, chased between then trailed up the backstretch, moved to the inside, advanced while angling four wide around the far turn but flattened down the lane. SO I'M TOLD had to steadied four deep on the first turn, remained in range four deep into the second bend, dropped back, spun three wide into the stretch and tired. DRUIDIC chased four then five wide on the first turn, remained widest to the stretch and weakened. LEYAS CANDY vied five, four, then three deep around the clubhouse turn, dueled from outside up the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn and tired.
