SEPTEMBER MAGIC forced the early issue outside pacesetter, bid passing quarter marker then gained slim advantage in upper stretch before shaking loose a sixteenth out under steady handling. FREE AND HUMBLE hopped slightly in a slow start, chased while bit off the rail, blocked behind wall of rivals passing quarter marker and until upper stretch, shifted out five wide, split rivals in late going and surged to grab second. VEGAS LOVE hopped bit then broke inward and was bumped off stride in opening yards, chased while outside runner-up, was caught five wide on the turn then six wide into the stretch, remained outside through the lane and lost the place late. DIAMOND BAR GAL was close up early from the outside, chased four wide into the turn then three deep around the turn, remained well off the rail and finished willingly. ACE ACE BABY received bumped from both sides leaving the gate, prompted the pace three wide, remained on same path around the turn and lacked needed late response. CHEEKY GAL sped to the front, controlled the pace from along the rail, relinquished command in upper stretch and weakened late along the fence. READY JET GO stalked leaders from the inside, continued to hug the rail into the stretch and also weakened. ACTIVATED (IRE) broke out bit and bumped rival at the break, stalked while outside rival, was between foes on the turn and faded.
