TIGHT SQUEEZE settled inside in mid-pack, lost ground early on the turn, coaxed along the rail into the stretch, steered out at the top of the lane, unleashed a rally and inhaled the runner-up near the wire. RIDEGOLD set the pace under pressure from inner rival, dueled into and around the bend, inched ahead approaching the stretch, shook free at the top of the lane, drew away and carried a comfortable lead into the last sixteenth but got run down by the surging winner in the closing moments. SEI BELLA stalked along the rail, waited for room behind the top pair, lacked room late on the turn and upper stretch, tipped out in to the clear, could not summon the needed late kick but was able to hold third. ADVERSE SELECTION broke a step slow, trailed from inside into the turn, saved ground to the lane, angled out and produced a mild rally but could not get by SEI BELLA for third. MARIA TALLCHIEF tracked four then three deep in the early going, continued outside rivals around the bend and weakened in the final furlong. STRAKER pressed the pace from inside the raced on even terms leaving the backstretch, fought along the fence through the bend, yielded to the winner in upper stretch and weakened down the lane. TIMEKEEPER'S CHARM was off slow to begin, raced outside a rival at the back, took the turn three then two wide and improved position. WILD CAT DANZING raced in range two wide, lost ground on the turn, was bothered a bit at the eighth pole and faded out of contention. LESS IS MORE stalked off the rail then two wide into the turn, came under a ride around the bend but weakened down the lane. ENJOY chased from off the pace, took the turn three wide, drifted in a bit in upper stretch and failed to menace. STUBBORN came away to an awkward beginning, chased from off the pace, went two wide into the turn, ran into traffic at the five-sixteenths pole and was never a factor.
