YACOWLEF (IRE) tracked from inside out of range, drew closer on the far turn, tipped out and came three wide into the lane, bid three deep in upper stretch, put a head in front and maintained a short lead over KERRY GOLD to the wire. KERRY GOLD was closest in pursuit through both turns, bid between rivals in upper stretch, fought with inside the winner through the final furlong but could not summon the needed late kick. HURRICANE CLOUD (GB) sat off the pace in the two path outside the winner on the first turn, drew closer while angling out on the far turn, spun four wide into the lane, finished well in the stretch run and but could not get by the top pair. BIZZEE CHANNEL traveled in the two path well off the pace, remained two wide through the far turn and showed a mild response to earn a minor award. MACKINNON raced three deep near the back into the first turn, asked two wide around the second bend, tipped out into the lane and improved position. SO I'M TOLD sprinted clear from inside and opened up a comfortable advantage, held a diminishing lead through the far turn, came under threat in upper stretch and weakened once overtaken. ATOMIC DROP was moving around just before the start and came away slow when the gates opened, trailed inside then in the two path around the first turn, continued two wide on the far turn, moved out in the lane and failed to threaten. LIBERAL (IRE) raced along the rail towards the rear, trailed up the backstretch, chased on the inside then two wide on the far turn, tipped out into the lane and was never a factor. PASS THE BATON saved ground well off the pace and weakened in the lane. AMERICAN EMPIRE settled in the two path near the back of the pack, moved inside on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn, trailed into the stretch and was outrun.
