WOODBINE WAY vied between rivals to the turn, emerged clear at the five-sixteenths pole, showed the way into the final furlong and held safely under right handed urging and steady handling. TESSA (GB) raced in range out wide, drew closer three deep into the turn, bid four wide on the turn, chased two wide into the lane, finished determinedly through the final furlong but could not reach the winner. ROSES R BLUE broke a step slow, advanced four wide around the turn, closed well through the lane but could not get to the top pair. I'M A RISQUE GIRL stalked between then outside a rival leaving the backstretch, went between foes at the five-sixteenths pole, chased along the rail turning for home, angled off the fence in upper stretch and could not produce a late bid. ROMAN EMPRESS popped the stall doors open but did not leave the gate, climbed early and dropped back, altered seven wide past the three-eighths pole, went five wide into the lane and improved position. SPREAD THE RISK climbed early under coaxing, angled in on the turn, tipped three wide around the bend and failed to menace. AMANDA ROSE got squeezed between rivals early, chased two wide into the turn, dropped back and moved out around the bend, came four wide into the stretch and had little left for the drive. ASSEMBLED STORM away quickest from the gate then vied three deep up the backstretch, could not kick on with the leader at the five-sixteenths pole, chased three then two wide to the stretch and tired. O'NEILL'S LEGACY fought for the lead inside a pair of rivals to the three-eighths pole, could not keep up midway around the bend, started to weaken approaching the stretch and retreated through the lane. DADDY INDEED chased outside rivals in the early going, dropped back under asking three then four wide on the turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
