MISO PHANSY brushed with outer rival at the start, trailed up the backstretch, waited along the inside behind CHILLY PHILLY around the bend still at the back of the pack, had to put the brakes on when lacking room in upper stretch, altered out into the clear, surged and overtook the runner-up late. PRESS YOUR LUCK stalked along the fence into the turn, came under a ride, tipped out late on the bend and into the stretch, collared the leader at the sixteenth pole, took control shortly after but got run down by the winner in the end. CHILLY PHILLY chased from off the pace, coaxed along early on the turn but ran into traffic and had to idle, angled in at the quarter pole, tipped out at the sixteenth pole and got up for third. LAVA LUCY set the pace from inside under pressure, cleared into the stretch, got collared at the sixteenth pole and weakened late. NELL'S LEGACY stalked in the two path into the turn, ridden along around the bend and weakened down the lane. HERAS HOPE stalked the top pair three deep into the turn, lost ground around the bend, moved out in the lane and flattened. CAYUCOS brushed leaving the gate, raced up close then pressed the pace from outside, kept the heat on the leader through the turn, could not keep up entering the lane and retreated in the stretch run.
