GRANNY BUDGIE (GB) sat off the pace, traveled along the rail then two wide around the turn, chased between runners at the top of the lane, closed well through the final furlong and inhaled the runner-up. PUSHINESS established the front quickly, crossed over to the inside, padded the lead around the bend, carried a comfortable lead into the final furlong, remained clear into deep stretch but got run down by the winner. VISUALLY saved ground off the pace, cut the corner into the lane and showed a mild rally to gain third. ROYAL CHARTER (GB) raced outside a rival near the back, chased two then three wide on the turn, altered out a bit in upper stretch and improved position. MA RAE'S GIRL tracked off the inside, three wide around the bend, moved out in upper stretch and weakened. TAHINI stalked along the inside, moved off the fence in the lane and weakened. VITALERA (CHI) was closest to the leader up the backstretch, chased in the two path to the stretch and faded.
