Footnotes
KINGMEISTER tracked from inside, was closest in pursuit on the far turn, took aim in the two path coming into the stretch, challenged between rivals midstretch and drove clear. ZIMBA WARRIOR saved ground from off the pace, advanced along the fence through the far turn, steered out at the top of the lane, rallied and gained second. J. B. BOOKS sat off the pace in the two path, moved inside on the backstretch, tipped out at the quarter pole, challenged three deep midstretch and got outkicked. NAUVOO showed the way early from inside, set all the pace to the stretch, remained unchallenged to the eighth pole, got run down midstretch and flattened late to fourth. DRUIDIC chased four then three wide around the first turn, went two wide into the second bend, angled out and came four wide into the drive and kept on trying down the lane but needed to find more. CROWN MAGIC hesitated and came away slow, trailed on the inside around both turns and passed tired rivals. UPSTART YANKEE unhurried in the early going and went five then four wide around the first turn, exited the backstretch in the four path, moved out to the six path early on the bend, remained wide to the stretch and was never a factor. MOTHER'S PRAYER raced up close outside the leader, weakened around the far turn and tired down the lane. FLY THE SKY climbed along approaching the first turn, went three wide around the bend, stayed off the inside up the backstretch, moved out to the five path on the far turn and came up empty in the drive. AURELIAN MAN stalked in the three path around the clubhouse turn, dropped back under urging on the second bend, eased in the lane and walked off.
