FINAL STORM became fractious in the gate, trailed inside a rival early, went three wide into the turn, eased out to the five path around the bend, stormed to the front in upper stretch, held a short lead over DISOBEY into the last sixteenth and edged clear. DISOBEY pulled the rider along in the early going, angled to the inside, hugged the rail around the bend, put in a rail bid at the three-sixteenths pole, fought inside FINAL STORM into deep stretch and got outkicked. MICI'S EXPRESS raced outside a rival at the back early on, went four wide into the turn, exited the bend in the six path, challenged in upper stretch but flattened in the late stages. RUNKERRY set the pace under pressure up the backstretch, moved clear on the turn, challenged from both sides in upper stretch, offered little resistance and weakened in the late stages. HAVOC stalked off the rail or outside a rival, chased three then four wide on the turn, put in a mild bid between rivals in upper stretch but was no match in the furlong grounds. UNBRIDLED VISION chased in the two path into the turn, ran into traffic on the turn, raced a bit off the rail into the lane and flattened out. DEVIL BE ME pressed the pace from outside, chased two then three wide on the turn, tired in upper stretch, bled following the race and was transported off the track via equine ambulance.
