Footnotes
WHATMAKESSAMMYRUN rated off the rail then outside rivals, tracked three deep through the turn, tipped out at the top of the lane, took over midstretch and inched ahead late. DONCIC stalked outside a rival then three deep into the turn, challenged three deep at the quarter pole, put a head in front in upper stretch but got outkicked by the winner in deep stretch. BOB'S BLUE MOON stalked the top pair early, had to take up behind a rival past the half-mile pole, bid between foes with a quarter mile remaining, battled into deep stretch but could not find the needed late kick. ONE FLEW SOUTH bumped leaving the gate, raced inside rivals at the back, went between foes at the five-sixteenths pole, had to wait for an opening when lacking room in upper stretch, gained a clear path in the final furlong and finished willingly late. COMMANDER (FR) traveled four deep at the rear, went three then two wide around the bend, moved out in the stretch and kept trying to the wire. CARVER stumbled badly, recovered and went up to fight for the lead outside a rival, inched ahead at the half-mile pole, cleared leaving the backstretch, challenged by a pair of rivals at the quarter pole, lost command in upper stretch, fought on to midstretch and weakened in the last sixteenth. NERO TULIP (GB) dueled from inside, pressed the half-mile pole, chased leaving the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and faded. IRISH ROYALTY bumped inner rival at the start, bumped a few times and checked behind a rival past the half-mile pole, chased three then two wide on the turn, tipped out into the lane and was never a factor. KING APOLLO got bumped on both sides leaving the gate, coaxed along between rivals at the back, bumped with IRISH ROYALTY again near the half-mile pole, traveled two wide then inside on the turn, came up empty in the lane and was not persevered with in the furlong grounds.
