DEVILNTHEBLUEGRAS rated along the inside, moved out and drew alongside the top pair on the backstretch, dueled outside SUNSET STORM around the far, seized control in upper stretch, drew clear at the eight pole and was kept busy to the line. SUNSET STORM dueled from outside, inched ahead past the five-eighths pole, fought even terms leaving the backstretch, put away inner rival but had to contend with DEVILNTHEBLUEGRAS to the outside around the far turn, relinquished the lead in upper stretch and churned on through the final furlong to retain second. FAST SERVICE got pinballed leaving the gate, chased four then three deep around the clubhouse turn, spun three wide into the lane and kept on for a clear third. DAZZLE THE COMMAND raced three wide between foes around the clubhouse turn while dropping off the pace, came four wide into the lane and failed to threaten. BRUISER took a bump from inside leaving the gate, angled inward trailing early, steered out and advanced outside rivals on the far turn, then improved position further down the lane. ACERO chased two wide between rivals on the first turn, followed in range up the backstretch, exited the far turn in the three path and weakened. UPDRAFT got knocked into outer rival in the beginning, checked off heels into the first turn, angled inward, raced outside a rival on the backstretch, angled in again on the far turn and lacked further response in the stretch run. SIR LUCAS dueled from inside, would not let outer rival shake loose on the backstretch, fought to the far turn, yielded past the three-eighths pole and retreated. LIBERTY WOLF coaxed along off the pace in the two path, dropped further back in the middle stages, tipped out on the far turn and was never a factor. PRECEDENT LUKE broke out and bumped, stalked three deep around the first turn, dropped back on the backstretch, faded around the far turn, eased in the furlong grounds and walked off.
