KIKURIDE brushed with outer rival at the start, was closest in pursuit from the two path to the far turn, latched onto the leader around the bend, fought on even terms turning into the stretch, took over shortly after, put away WE THE HOBBY with a sixteenth remaining and held safely over the runner-up. HELLO KID O KID O tracked along the fence then drifted out a bit early on the first turn, moved back inside, tipped out and came three wide into the stretch, showed late run to earn second but could not get to the winner. WE THE HOBBY showed the way in the early stages from inside, challenged by KIKURIDE on the far turn, dueled into the lane, lost the advantage in upper stretch, could not stay on with the winner in deep stretch and lost second. BIG HOTTIE stalked from inside through both turns and weakened down the lane. LESS IS MORE stalked the pacesetter outside BIG HOTTIE, remained two wide to the stretch and also weakened. IONIAN GEM brushed leaving the gate, got floated out a bit on the first turn, moved back to the two path, continued two wide to the second bend, moved out to the three path then angled in late on that turn and lacked further response. CLUB TEASER stumbled and exchanged bumps with inner rival prior to the first turn, traveled two wide then found the rail around the bend, saved ground to the stretch, moved out in the lane and could not make an impact. JOYFUL MISCHIEF bumped with CLUB TEASER multiple times early, angled to the inside, drifted out a bit on the far turn and was never a factor.
