FAST BUCK stalked three deep, challenged the top pair from outside midway around the bend, emerged clear entering the lane, drifted inward under right handed urging, met the challenge from WE'RE IN TROUBLE late and held gamely. WE'RE IN TROUBLE broke in and bumped, raced outside a rival at the back, crept closer up the backstretch, bumped with inner rival into the turn, bumped midway around the bend while chasing four deep, bumped once more entering the lane, dug in deep stretch and drew alongside FAST BUCK but failed to get by. DANDY MAN SHINES (IRE) unhurried in the beginning, drew closer between rivals but had to take hold when running on heels at the seven-sixteenths pole, bumped with outer rival three deep at the three-eighths pole, bumped again midway around the bend and once more coming into the stretch, stayed within range down the lane but only managed to hold third. ELWOOD BLUES stalked off the rail or between rivals, bumped in the two path near the quarter pole, ran into traffic entering the lane, kept on trying while finding the rail in the lane and earned a minor award. GO JOE WON had to take hold when losing his path at the nine-sixteenths pole, followed in hand along the inside into the turn, angled out approaching the stretch, kept trying down the lane but needed to find more. MUCHO DEL ORO raced up close on the inside, got boxed in around the turn, lacked room in upper stretch, tipped out into the clear and failed to threaten. CHARGE FOR GOLD got bumped from outside at the start, went up to duel from inside, vied with outer pair past the five-sixteenths pole, yielded leaving the turn and gave way. SHARP AZA TACK dueled from outside, battled between rivals past the five-sixteenths pole, could not kick on with the new leader entering the stretch and retreated.
