ADEBAYO broke slow and lost his path leaving the gate, rushed up between then chased three deep into the turn, bid two wide with a quarter mile remaining, kicked clear in upper stretch, challenged by UNBREAKABLE TRUST at the sixteenth pole, lugged out and bumped that rival late and was able to hold on. UNBREAKABLE TRUST chased along the inside into the turn, angled out and came four wide into the stretch, reeled in the leader at the sixteenth pole, finished gamely while getting forced out and bumped late only to miss out in a narrow photo. MASTER JACQUES bumped leaving the gate, chased from off the pace, took the turn two then three wide, moved out and gained third. TORLEIF forwardly placed outside a rival then between leaving the backstretch, bumped with inner rival twice early on the turn, went two wide around the bend, found the rail then tipped back out in upper stretch and got edged for the show honors. SOUL MUSIC broke in and bumped, chased well off the rail early, took the turn four then five wide and lacked a rally. THEY'RENOTLIKEUS reluctant loading into the gate, coaxed from the start then taken to the back of the field early, went two wide into the turn, trailed four wide into the stretch and was never a factor. HOT TIGER NIGHTS got bumped by SOUL MUSIC leaving the gate, took control early then crossed over once in the clear, confronted from outside rival at the quarter pole, yielded at the top of the stretch and weakened down the lane. BUSTER'S WAY bumped leaving the gate, raced up close from inside, bumped twice early on the turn and faded. THE RIDER ABOARD UNBREAKABLE TRUST LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDER ABOARD ADEBAYO FOR INTERFERENCE LATE IN THE STRETCH. THERE WAS ALSO A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE SAME INCIDENT. FOLLOWING A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED IN A UNANIMOUSLY TO DISQUALIFY ADEBAYO FROM FIRST TO SECOND FOR LUGGING OUT AND CAUSING INTERFERENCE TO UNBREAKABLE TRUST LATE IN THE RACE. COSTING THAT RIVAL A CHANCE AT A BETTER PLACING.
