HAYWOOD sprinted clear quickly from outside, led from inside through the turn, remained unchallenged into the final furlong and padded the lead under left handed urging and steady handling. GRAZEN SUN was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, followed the leader from the two path around the bend, could not summon the needed late kick to threaten the winner but stayed on to secure second. MAN CHILD chased off the inside, between rivals in the two path on the turn, moved out a bit in the lane, lacked a bid but was able to hold third. CHASIN MUNNY chased from off the pace, traveled two wide early on the turn, spun four wide into the lane, showed a mild response when called upon but could not get by MAN CHILD for the show honors. MAJOR TOM hesitated and came away slow, trailed on the inside into the turn, steered out and came five wide into the stretch and rallied belatedly. LEYAS CANDY raced in range on the inside, saved ground through the turn and weakened in the final furlong. ROGUE SON brushed leaving the gate, raced outside a rival near the back, went four wide into the turn, moved into the three path then angled five wide leaving the bend and failed to menace. HALO RANDO chased outside rivals up the backstretch, three deep coming into the stretch and tired in the furlong grounds. OTRO MAS was a bit fractious in the gate, broke slow, saved ground around the turn and could not make an impact. BLAME GEORGE broke in and brushed ROGUE SON, chased from off the pace in the three path going into the turn, moved into the two path then exited the bend in the four path and had little left for the drive.
