MRS. ASTOR stalked three deep around the first turn, moved into the two path first time through the stretch, bid three deep at the five-sixteenths pole, kicked clear late on the final turn, drew off under left then right handed urging and was kept busy to the wire. STARRY HEAVENS (IRE) stalked keenly in hand between rivals around the first turn, remained close up the backstretch, drew alongside SAKURA BLOSSOM with three furlongs remaining, led briefly outside the quarter pole, lost command shortly after passing that marker, yielded to the winner approaching the stretch and managed to hold on for second. SOPHISTICATE rated along the fence early, saved ground around the clubhouse turn as well, tipped two wide on the final turn and chased between runners entering the lane, churned on through the stretch run and failed to get by STARRY HEAVENS (IRE) for second. MAHINA tucked inside at the back, moved into range up the backstretch, tipped three wide on the far turn and could not rally in the drive. SAKURA BLOSSOM grabbed the early lead and moved inside, controlled the pace in the early stages, coaxed along into the far turn, took pressure at the three-eighths pole, relinquished the lead nearing the quarter pole, yielded to the top pair late on the bend and tired down the lane.
