BRONKO NAGURSKI chased while climbing early off the rail, moved inside for the turn, patiently ridden on the turn before being roused and shifting to the two path late on the bend, stormed to the front in upper stretch, kicked clear with a furlong remaining and won going away. FAST SERVICE chased from off the pace on the inside, ridden along the the fence into the lane, moved out and split foes at the eighth pole, then closed for the place honors. BIG BET chased off the pace outside a rival, traveled three then two wide around the bend, moved out in the lane and got outkicked for second. HERMELINDA'S FANCY broke a step slow and outward, tracked four wide into the turn, moved into the three path with a quarter mile remaining, launched a bid in upper stretch but flattened in the late stages. UPLIFT took back from between rivals early, trailed on the inside into the turn, came two wide into the stretch, angled out and summoned a mild rally. SIX HOT GRANDS came away alertly, raced up close to the outside of the pacesetter, bid two wide around the bend, raced on even terms at the five-sixteenths pole, carried a short lead into the lane, lost command in upper stretch and weakened. DORIS AVENUE showed the way up the backstretch, led two wide into the turn then found the rail while being challenged by SIX HOT GRANDS, lost command past the quarter pole and tired down the lane.
