A DAY TO REMEMBER pressed from outside to the top of the lane, took over at the eighth pole and drew clear in deep stretch. CUBAN CONFUSION (GB) stalked the top pair from inside to the start, moved out in the lane and got by ARRAKIS in the final moments for second. ARRAKIS showed the way early under pressure from A DAY TO REMEMBER, maintained a short lead through the turn, headed by the winner in upper stretch, lost command entering the final furlong and got edged for second near the wire. SIXHOOFSEVENHOOF broke a bit slow, trailed up the backstretch, fell further back along the rail on the turn and was outrun.
