Footnotes
PARADISE LAKE tracked from inside out of range, hugged the rail to the stretch, came off the fence in upper stretch, challenged three deep while drifting out in the last sixteenth and dug in late to best inner rivals. THE WHITE LADY (FR) dueled from inside first time through the stretch before ceding command approaching the clubhouse turn, stalked the lone leader from inside, tipped out at the top of the lane, drew alongside ROSELEE MAY with a furlong left to run, drifted out and got outkicked between foes late. ROSELEE MAY showed early speed while racing keenly in hand fighting for command outside THE WHITE LADY (FR), cleared that rival and moved inside for the clubhouse turn, led all the way to the stretch, challenged by outer rival at the eighth pole, battled inside a pair of rivals while drifting out and yielded grudgingly. ESMERAY (IRE) trailed on the inside, given her cue exiting the far turn, remained inside down the stretch and offered a mild rally to improve position. DEFIANCE coaxed from the gate, stalked four deep then moved into the three path for the clubhouse turn, traveled two then three wide around the second bend and finished evenly late. CORPORAL VIOLETTE (IRE) reserved in the two path, asked two then three wide on the far turn, tipped out into the lane, drifted back inside and failed to respond. STAR OF THE NIGHT (IRE) became rank chasing between rivals first time through the stretch, was forwardly placed in the two path around the clubhouse turn, fought the rider again early on the backstretch, came under a ride on the far turn, was bothered by inner rival while already starting to weaken in upper stretch and tired in the final furlong.
