NAVAJO WARRIOR stalked from inside then tipped three wide around the first turn, challenged from outside late on the far turn, cleared with a furlong remaining and drew away. MEGA MOON led outside a pair of rivals into the first turn, started to pull when ceding command to MOOSE MITCHELL around the bend, dueled up the backstretch, cleared briefly at the five-sixteenths pole, was confronted by NAVAJO WARRIOR late on the second bend, yielded outside the eighth pole and stayed on for a clear second. MOOSE MITCHELL showed speed between rivals into the first turn then took control from MEGA MOON around the bend, dueled inside that rival up the backstretch, could not keep up midway around the far turn, churned on down the lane and held third. TRUSTY RUSTY tracked in the three path, drew closer outside rivals in the middle stages, tipped out and came five wide into the lane and failed to threaten. MONGOLIAN MAX unhurried along the inside, moved into range on the clubhouse turn, lost ground on the backstretch, crept closer leaving the backstretch under coaxing, asked from the rail then two wide on the second bend and failed to respond. SAQEEL chased three then four wide early, stayed off the rail to the far turn, came two wide into the stretch and weakened. JOINT VENTURE raced up close on the inside, tugged the rider along on the first turn and backstretch, chased two, three, then four wide on the second bend and came up empty. JUBILANT JOANIE tracked in the two path, remained two wide into the far turn, angled over to the rail, saved ground to the stretch and tired.
