HURRICANE CLOUD (GB) pulled from inside early, tracked in range up the backstretch, stayed on the fence through the far turn, closed well from inside and bested outer trio in deep stretch. CALM SEA sent clear from outside, crossed over to the rail, set all the pace to the stretch, challenged at the top of the lane, drifted out a bit while battling with SIMPLEXITY (IRE), carried a narrow lead into the final sixteenth and yielded grudgingly late. SIMPLEXITY (IRE) was closest in pursuit from the two path, followed patiently to the outside of CALM SEA around the far turn, drew alongside entering the lane, fought head to head in the final furlong and lacked the needed final kick. MEGAYACHT raced in range three deep, traveled outside a rival up the backstretch, continued in the three path on the far turn, chased closely to the sixteenth pole, then came with a late bid four deep but was not enough. KERRY GOLD clipped heels not too long after the start, tracked outside a rival around the clubhouse turn, rounded the final bend in the three path, moved out widest at the top of the lane and lacked a rally. YACOWLEF (IRE) settled inside, came off the fence a bit leaving the first turn, chased in the two path on the far turn, moved out at the top of the lane, came back in a bit midstretch and was never a factor.
