SILVER I AM had to take up slightly when losing his path early, drew closer and stalked off the inside to the turn, took aim from the four then three path around the bend, challenged three deep entering the lane, dueled outside KEITHING THUNDER through the final furlong and dug in to edge the runner-up. KEITHING THUNDER raced up close inside the top pair, fought for the lead leaving the backstretch, dueled with BEER BUZZ past the three-eighths pole, fought inside a trio of rivals while coming off the rail into the lane, dueled with SILVER I AM in the final furlong, drifted out at the sixteenth pole, battled to the wire and missed. YA'LL COME stalked from outside, traveled four wide around the turn, bid four deep in the five path entering the lane and got outkicked by the top pair. BEER BUZZ led three deep early, fought on even terms into the turn, dueled outside KEITHING THUNDER past the three-eighths pole, vied between runners exiting the turn and weakened in the furlong grounds. TEE N OFF pressed between runners to the three-eighths pole, could not keep up with the top pair around the bend and weakened down the lane. RAGAZZONE bumped with outer rival and clipped heels early, raced STAR OF DELHI at the back of the field, took the turn two wide and could not make an impact. STAR OF DELHI broke a step slow, lacked early speed along the inside and failed to threaten. THERE WAS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INVOLVING TEE N OFF AND RAGAZZONE EARLY IN THE RACE. FOLLOWING A REVIEW, THE STEWARDS RULED THAT BOTH RUNNERS CONTRIBUTED TO THE INCIDENT AND THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
