ITS A CINCH dueled from outside then pressed the pace past the half-mile pole, put a head in front at the quarter pole, put away POKERKNIGHTATVEES in upper stretch and held safely under urging. TRIPLE DIAMONDS stalked the top pair up the backstretch, waited behind the leaders on the rail then in the two path on the turn, tipped out at the top of the stretch, finished determinedly late but could not get to the winner. BINGING ran awkwardly up the backstretch, drew closer two then three wide on the turn, got floated out a bit in upper stretch and flattened late. POKERKNIGHTATVEES dueled from inside, inched ahead past the half-mile pole, lost command at the quarter pole, fought to upper stretch and weakened. MR. MACHUPICCHU unhurried in the early going, raced on the inside then passed a rival in the two path on the turn, moved back inside late on the bend and failed to make an impact. LAST CALL ZONDLO hit the gate and came away slow, trailed early then outside a rival near the back into the turn, drew closer two then three wide around the bend and flattened in the lane. TYPHOON TOMMY sat off the pace on the inside, trailed into the stretch and was never a factor.
