Footnotes
OVER ATTRACTED trailed up the backstretch, saved ground through the turn, swung out approaching the stretch, closed well under right handed urging and overhauled the runner-up in the final thirty yards. LADY GREGORY stalked three deep, drew alongside the leader outside the eighth pole, took over inside that marker, led into deep stretch but could hold the winner at bay. TAM'S LITTLE ANGEL tracked from out of range early, was a bit rank at the half-mile pole, took the turn two wide, angled out in upper stretch, rallied in the lane but ran into some traffic late behind LADY GREGORY, altered to the inside and gained third. VELOCIOUS cleared the field to take control, showed the way along the inside under no threat from any rivals around the bend, confronted by LADY GREGORY approaching the furlong grounds, lost command past the eight pole, stayed on into deep stretch, then weakened late. ISSA COURT stalked between rivals, traveled two wide then was roused while finding the rail past the quarter pole, stayed within range to midstretch, then weakened in the final sixteenth. SONG OF SHADOWS was closest in pursuit in the two path into the turn, followed the leader still two wide to the stretch and weakened in the drive. STAY IN LINE chased under coaxing along the inside, ridden along through the turn and weakened down the lane.
