Footnotes
DEL MAR JERRY set the pace under pressure from JETOVATOR to the turn, got headed around the bend, resisted inside a pair of rivals in the final furlong and gamely prevailed. ONE FLEW SOUTH raced up close on the inside, moved out around the bend, took aim three wide turning for home, bid three deep in upper stretch but could not find the needed late kick to get by the winner. SBAGLIATO got crowded between rivals early and dropped back, trailed in the two path, closed in under left handed urging, moved out at the sixteenth pole and got up for the show honors. JETOVATOR pressed from outside, dueled two wide around the bend, fought between rivals in the furlong grounds and weakened late. DON'T SWEAR DAVE settled four then three rivals deep in the early going, took the turn three then two wide and weakened down the lane. COUNT OF AMAZONIA (IRE) settled three deep between rivals then off the inside, asked three wide on the turn, moved out at the top of the lane and failed to rally. GYPSY TEARS tracked between rivals, moved over to the rail around the bend and weakened. TOOK CHARGE got put in tight leaving the gate, tracked from inside, lost positions around the bend, cut the corner into the stretch and had little left for the drive.
