Footnotes
MIRAHMADI hustled from the gate, dueled from inside into the first turn, cleared outer rival around the bend, remained unchallenged through the far turn, drew away when roused at the top of the stretch, asked right handed at the eighth pole, shifted out when urged left handed at the sixteenth pole and remained well clear to the wire. ARROWTHEGREAT dropped off the pace under coaxing in the three path, cut into the lead on the backstretch, moved into range two then three wide on the far turn and ran on for second. ULTIMATE GAMBLE bobbled leaving the gate and was coaxed along while falling off the pace on the inside, crept closer in the middle stages, asked while continuing to save ground on the far turn, kept on to earn the show honors but failed to threaten. GO JOE WON broke well and dueled outside MIRAHMADI into the first turn, took a stalking position around that bend, remained closest to the top of the stretch, tired down the lane, then was transported off the track via equine ambulance following the race.
