CALIFORNIA ROCKS tracked three then four wide around the first turn, raced two wide up the backstretch in mid-pack, drew closer between foes on the far turn, bid outside the top pair with a furlong remaining, battled into deep stretch and drew clear late. HELLO KID O KID O pulled along the inside, drifted out and bumped early on the first turn, tugged the rider to the front between rivals, cleared on the backstretch, took pressure around the far turn, lost command into the lane, regained the advantage midstretch but got outkicked by the winner. RIDE ELBOW RANCH showed early speed outside a rival and stayed close up three deep into the backstretch, stalked while closest in pursuit to the far turn, bid two wide under a hold on the far turn, inched ahead in upper stretch, gave the lead back to HELLO KID O KID O midstretch and flattened to third. RIDEGOLD dueled from inside into the first turn, cleared briefly around the bend before taking pressure from outer rivals again, lost command past the five-eighths pole, stalked from inside to the far turn, cut the corner into the lane and weakened. MPERFECTION traveled near the back in the two path, between rivals in the middle stages, continued two wide on the far turn and improved position. STRAWBERRY TIZZY stalked between rivals for a bit, got bumped and checked when put in tight early on the first turn, saved ground through the second bend, cornered nicely into the lane and failed to threaten. PURE CHAOS moved into the two path then drifted out a bit early on the clubhouse turn, chased three deep in the middle stages, navigated the far turn three, four then five wide and also failed to threaten. WILD CAT DANZING got bumped three deep early on the first turn, stalked between backstretch, asked three deep on the far turn and weakened in the drive. ROYAL DUSTY pulled in the early going near the inside and continued to fight the rider on the backstretch, ran up on heels at the five-sixteenths pole, angled off the fence into the lane and weakened. SEVERE CLEAR forwardly placed early three then four deep, stayed off the rail racing in range up the backstretch, spun three wide into the lane and came up empty. TURKEY BIRD came away slow, became rank on the inside into the first turn, saved ground well off the pace, lacked room behind a rival at the quarter pole and was never a factor. G'ORO unhurried three wide on the first turn, raced between in the two path into the second bend, eased over to the three path, angled out into the stretch and could not make an impact.
