Footnotes
DOUBLE CAPPUCCINO coaxed along early chasing five, four, then three wide on the first turn, followed two then three wide in pursuit on the far turn, drew alongside READY TO DARE inside the eighth pole and drove clear. READY TO DARE presed between rivals, moved up on even terms in the middle stages, dueled two wide around the far turn, cleared into the stretch, confronted by the winner past the eighth pole, yielded to that rival and held second. LADY RIDER attended the pace three deep early, pressed the top pair from outside up the backstretch, chased three then four wide on the far turn and weakened. SEXZIE stumbled leaving the gate, recovered and was sent to gain the lead from the fence, showed the way under pressure, got headed on the backstretch, fought to the quarter pole, yielded to READY TO DARE entering the lane and folded in the furlong grounds. JAPHAR'S GIRL showed speed four deep around the first turn, stayed close widest up the backstretch, raced in the five path into the far turn, angled down to the two path around that bend and faded. HONKY TONK RHYTHM chased four wide into the first turn then tucked inside, dropped far back in the middle stages, eased around the far turn, pulled up entering the lane and walked off.
