HERO OR ZERO chased four deep briefly then went up to duel from outside, fought head to head through the turn, inched ahead entering the lane, kicked clear in upper stretch, tapped with the right hand at the eighth pole and widened while ridden out to the wire. ARKADELPHIA sent clear early then met the challenge from HERO OR ZERO to the outside, dueled with that rival around the bend, yielded at the top of the lane and kept on to save the place honors. NO JOKE ANTARES chased from off the pace, raced along the inside then two wide leaving the bend, steered out in upper stretch and missed second. MO HOLLAND DRIVE chased outside a pair of rivals into the turn, stayed off the fence to the stretch and faded. FLASHY FRITZ hustled along the inside chasing the speed, followed the top pair to the stretch and weakened down the lane. JOHN METCALFE hesitated and came away slow, trailed to the turn, passed rivals while saving ground around the bend and picked off a few more tired rivals in the stretch run. SUNSET RIDE chased out of range from off the rail, went four wide into the turn, moved into the three path, entered the lane in the four path and weakened. CHASE N RYAN climbed a bit early and dropped back, exited the backstretch in the two path, spun four wide into the lane and was never a factor. EL PRECIOSO stumbled badly leaving the gate, raced near the back in the early going, took the turn four then three wide and was never a factor. JIMMY DELIVERS chased between rivals into the turn, lugged out and changed leads past the five-sixteenths pole and tired in the stretch run.
