Footnotes
SEAGER MAN pressed from outside, moved up on even terms around the bend, took over at the top of the stretch, drew clear under a tap of right-handed encouragement midstretch and was ridden out late. KITTEN IN CHARGE raced in range between rivals into the turn, cut to the inside late on the bend, tipped back out in upper stretch, ran on to gain second but could not reach the winner. WHATS THE BUZZ showed the way under pressure from SEAGER MAN, headed by that rival on the turn, relinquished the lead at the top of the lane, fought to midstretch, then weakened in the late stages. ROBARANDO coaxed along from off the pace on the inside, shifted to the two path midway around the bend, showed a mild response in the lane and missed third. SPIRITIST broke a step slow on the outside, chased three deep into the turn, remained three wide to the lane and weakened. UPLIFT lacked early speed, moved to the inside, shifted to the two path on the turn and passed a tired rival in the lane. EXCESSIVE THIEVERY chased off the rail then angled to the inside on the backstretch, fell out of range on the turn and tired in the stretch.
